Anita Barone
A stage actress that is versatile and has been relegated mostly to sitcoms on TV, Anita Barone received her biggest break in the medium by playing partner to Jeff Foxworthy on "The Jeff Foxworthy Show," which was a one-season show on ABC between 1995 and 1996. Barone played on stage in her first performance at five years old in Detroit when her family moved out of St Louis. She was 23 when Barone appeared in more than 50 plays. Many of them took place in regional and university theaters. Her stage roles included Juliet of Romeo and Juliet, Helen Keller in a re-imagining of "Monday after the Miracle", and the role of Agnes the young, gruesome character in "Agnes of God." She also had an appearance in a movie known as "Ricochet". Barone also was in the scene of "The The Rosary Murders". Then, in the year 1996, Barone played the main character in a romantic comedy that was independent named "Just Friends". Barone was the first to get a notable Hollywood job as a part of Carol & Company (NBC, 1990-1991) The ill-fated effort to be a part of Carol Burnett in trying to revive the comedy sketch series. Barone made an appearance in"The Wounded Heart" on the USA Network movie "Wounded Heart" in 1995. In the end, she got back to her regular sitcom season, co-starring alongside Michael Chiklis in "Daddio" (NBC 2001).
